RESIDENCE
There are four main categories for New Zealand Resident (Subject to meet the criteria)
– Migrant Investment Category include Investor Plus (Investor 1 Category), and Investor (Investor 2 Category).
Investor Plus (Investor 1 Category). To be considered under Investor Plus Category you must meet the basic criteria: Investment Fund, Minimum time in New Zealand, to be of good health and good character.
Investor (Investor 2 Category). Points based. Minimum points score of 20 or more. To be considered under Investor Category you must meet the basic criteria: Age, Business Experience, Investment funds, Settlement funds, English, Minimum time in New Zealand, Good health and Good character.
– Residence for Entrepreneurs include Entrepreneur Residence Category (2 Year) and Entrepreneur Resident Category (6 months) (Fast Track).
Entrepreneur Residence Category (2 Year). To be considered under Entrepreneur Residence Category you must meet the basic criteria: Hold Entrepreneur Work Visa or LTBV or Work Visa – Self- employ , Investment capital, English Language, Benefit to New Zealand, Time required in New Zealand, Business Experience, Good health and Good character.
Entrepreneur Residence Category (6 months) (Fast Track). To be considered under Entrepreneur Residence Category you must meet the basic criteria: Hold Entrepreneur Work Visa or LTBV, Investment capital, English Language, Benefit to New Zealand, Time required in New Zealand, Business Experience, Good health and Good character.
– Skilled Migrant Category – Points based. You will also need to meet the threshold of 100 points to register an Expression of Interest. Expressions of Interest will be ranked and those with the top points will be invited to apply for residence. To be considered under Skilled Migrant Category you must meet the following requirements: to be of good health, good character, have a reasonable standard of English, be no older than 55 years of age and received an offer of employment from New Zealand employer or current employment in New Zealand.
– Family Category include partners, dependent children and parents of New Zealand Citizens or Residents to come and live in New Zealand. (Subject to meet the criteria)
TEMPORARY
There are four main categories for Temporary Visa (Subject to meet the criteria)
– Student Visa. To be considered for Student Visa you must meet the basic criteria of offer of place from a New Zealand education provider, guardians (for student 13 years of age and under), funds to support yourself, to be of good health and good character
– Visitor Visa and Special Visitor Visa. To be considered for Visa Visa you must meet the basic criteria of to be of good health, good character, proof of funds, proof that you plan to leave New Zealand, accommodation and Bona Fide temporary visitor
– Work Visa – include Essential skills, family stream, Specific Purpose or Event, Study to Work. To be considered for Work Visa you must meet the criteria of each category and basic criteria.
